I joined the editiorial team of this Pink Floyd magazine at 15. Our editorial independence – i.e. being rude about the band – made us popular with both readers and other publications, such as Q and Record Collector. Both of the latter regularly cited us in their pages. I was also interviewed by The Observer and News of the World.
As co-editor, I wrote and edited much of the content, assisted with distribution, and negotiated with the companies who stocked – and advertised in – the magazine, including Virgin, Tower, HMV and Sony. I also dealt with phone and mail enquiries from readers around the world.
