Originally asked simply to write the Pink Floyd entry, I wound up co-editing this huge,
full-colour encyclopedia. It was an invaluable introduction to book publishing, as I
contributed to the writing, editing, selection process, design and picture research.
It also showcased my preference for photographs with stuff being blown up, as in my
Nine Inch Nails entry, left. (This extract is for illustrative purposes only. The book
