As co-editor, I wrote half of the original shortlist; negotiated amendments and additions with overseas publishers; recruited and managed a team of contributors; ensured that the copy conformed to US house style, and was accurate but lively; fed a steady flow of copy to the in-house editors; and helped compile an additional list of international songs at the end.
